Welcome to The Crisader, the web page for everyone concerned about the twin crises of environmental catastrophe and human inequality that threaten to destroy us if we don’t urgently do something to overcome them.
David Michael Jones is a radical thinker, writer and campaigner for change to the status quo. No one can deny that the world and the human race is in crisis. Global warming, climate and ocean change, poverty, famine, persecution, refugee crises, pandemic disease, terrorism, war and economic meltdown threaten our long-term survival. Everyone’s talking about the threat caused by over-consumption. The real problem though is over population. Quite simply there are far too may humans for planet Earth to sustain. No one seems to want to talk about that though. David Michael Jones has written extensively on the problems that confront the World and on their possible solution.
The word ‘crusader’ has become synonymous with campaigner, champion, advocate, reformer. For that reason, David named this introductory book The Crisader, to highlight the need for a new 21st Century quest to save ourselves from a ‘crisis’ of our own making. That we need to save ourselves from ourselves should be obvious to everyone who has seen, on their TV or Internet, the consequences of over-population, of environmental destruction, of climate and ocean change, and of human inequality.
We can’t go on as we are. We have to find a new understanding of life that is compatible with our future, rather than our past, needs. We need to urgently change the way we look at things, then change the way we behave.
Create a better chance of a long-term future for your children, your grandchildren, and your great-grandchildren - that’s certainly a cause worth fighting for!
